Predictable income is the ticket to freedom in business and the reason that having a reliable system for generating income has become a priority in our business. Today I will give you the 7 step blueprint for creating a predictable system in your business.

What I’m about to share with you in this post is powerful in multiple ways. For starters, this is one of the best ways to start and grow a business from scratch. Hands down this is the approach I would take if I had to start over from scratch.

If you’re like must entrepreneurs you’re probably struggling with many pieces of your business. It can be overwhelming trying to put together everything in a way that works. What I’m going to share with you today is SIMPLE.

That doesn’t mean that it will be easy but what it does mean is that it is simple and you can build your entire business on this one simple model. If you focus all your efforts on this one model you could easily build 10X the results in your coaching business.

This is your ticket to freedom.

So without further ado, let’s get into it.

Step 1: Become A Specialist

It took me a long time to figure this out. You see, most people are marketing to everyone which means they are marketing to no one. The key to building an an authority based expert business is carving your space in the market.

You need to stand out from the noise!

To do that answer these questions:

Who do you help?
How do you help them?

And you need to be specific. You can start vague and then drill down deep.

To illustrate let’s look at some examples.

Example fitness coaching business:

  • Level 1: I help women lose weight
  • Level 2: I help busy moms lose weight
  • Level 3: I help busy moms lose weight with proper nutrition and light exercise.

Now we are getting somewhere! Now we are becoming a specialist.

By drilling down you become the goto option. You become the expert.

If I’m a busy mom that wants to lose weight do I go to the general fitness coach or do I go to the fitness coach that specializes in helping busy moms? See how you can immediately position yourself as the right choice?

That is powerful!

Step 2: Create your core transformation program

You need a core transformation program. A core curriculum or what I call the “core transformation process.”

In your coaching business you need a core process that takes your customers from point A to point B. Or in other words…where they are now to where they want to be. This process should be documented into an easy to follow blueprint or framework.

Your core transformation process should be positioned to get your targeted client their desired result in a certain timeframe.

Let’s look at this post as a coaching business example: I help coaches launch an expert based business in 30 days or less.

This post could be the core transformation process that I take coaches through:

  • Step 1: Become A Specialist
  • Step 2: Creating your core transformation program
  • Step 3: Build A Tribe
  • Step 4: Become the trusted Advisor
  • Step 5: Create your conversion engine
  • Step 6: Launch
  • Step 7: Scale

Once you have this defined you can create everything you need to create your flagship program because everything will be built around that core transformation process.

Step 3: Build A Tribe

In order for this to be a business you to have customers. In order to have customers you need a tribe of people that are willing to pay you money for your core transformation process.

We build a tribe of loyal followers by creating “micro content.” Micro content is short videos and/or posts teaching concepts from your core transformation process. This is how you attract people that NEED your core transformation program.

Here’s where things get amazing 😉 and this might sound a little technical but it’s as easy as pasting a simple line of code on your website. You can begin capturing an audience using a small snippet of code known as a pixel. More specifically the Facebook pixel.

With the Facebook pixel you can capture an audience of people consuming your videos and posts. These are people that like your content. This is amazing because now you can capture an audience by putting out great content. You don’t need them on your email list yet…and the pixel still lets you capture them.

Now you can retarget them with retargeting ads that gets them on your email list. This is how we get cheap leads and build a tribe of followers fast.

One of the best ways to do this is by offering them your “core transformation magnet” which is a short PDF or video of your transformation process. Similar to what you’re reading now. I could turn this into a PDF and make it my core transformation magnet as I am breaking down my core transformation process in a short guide for you. You can do the same for your business.

Step 4: Become the trusted Advisor

In the last step we used micro content and a lead magnet based on our core transformation process to get people on our email list. Now that you have them on your email list, they have consumed your transformation magnet, and free content you can further that relationship and become their trusted advisor.

This is achieved by sending them more awesome content on your core transformation process. My favorite way to do this is put them through a mini course that teaches your process and gets them actively engaged in the process.

You can easily take your core transformation process and create a short 5 minute instructional video on each part and send it through your automated email campaign over 5 to 7 days. This builds value and further indoctrinates them into your system being the answer to their problem.

Step 5: Create your conversion engine

The beautiful thing about implementing the system that I’ve laid out is that you don’t have to hard sell people to buy from you. Every step of your funnel has educated them on your transformation process.

If they have made it this far in your funnel they believe in your process. It doesn’t take much more to get them to buy.

In fact, getting them to join and buy from you is as simple as linking to your sales page or sales video from your content. You can link from within your core transformation magnet. You can link to it from your video series. And you can even add more emails to your campaign that promote your flagship program directly after your video series.

Step 6: Launch

Launching your flagship program is putting all the steps above together. This means you will have:

  • Content that makes people aware of what you teach.
  • A free guide on your core transformation process that people can give you their email address for.
  • A video series or mini course that educates people on your email list more about your core transformation process
  • A sales letter or video promoting your flagship program that is your in-depth course on your core transformation process.
  • An email campaign that promotes the entire system on auto-pilot.

Step 7: Scale

In the final step we will focus on scaling up our income. To do this you will use what I call the “3 tier ascension model.”

Currently your flagship program teaches your core transformation process. It is training that teaches people how to go from point A to point B but some people will need more help.

Some people will need someone to walk them through the process personally. This gives you an opportunity to add your ascension funnel. It looks like this:

  1. Your flagship program
  2. Coaching/Consulting on your core transformation process
  3. Done For You
